Plans have been submitted to build Motorsport Tower in Miami, next to a new train station planned along the Brightline tracks.
Motorsport Tower is proposed to rise 12 stories include:
- 206,352 square feet of office
- 79,676 square feet of commercial/retail
- 390 parking spaces
The newly planned Brightline commuter rail station is directly adjacent to the site, according to a letter from the project architect. The property is also a part of the Magic City Innovation District.
In a letter to the UDRB, project architect DB Lewis wrote that his design for the tower would be “instantly recognizable” and “will substantially enhance the surrounding urban context with its architecture and pedestrian friendly uses.”
Imperial Capital Group, LLC is the developer.
Miami’s Urban Development Review Board is scheduled to have a hearing on the proposal on May 18.
