Here’s a list of places in South Florida where you can get free turkeys for your Thanksgiving meal.

Thursday 19 November

Colorado Rockies pitcher Yency Almonte will host a Thanksgiving food raffle at the Hank Klein Club located at 2805 Southwest and 33133 32nd Avenue in Miami, beginning at 4:30 p.m.

Friday, November 20

The Pendas Law Firm will deliver 750 turkeys to families who come between 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. to the headquarters of the Kiwanis in Little Havana, the exact address is 1400 SW and 1st Street in Miami.

Miami Mayor Francis Suárez will be joined by NBA legend Magic Johnson. Both will be distributing food at the City Hall of the city located at 3500 Pan American Drive in Miami. The event will be between 11 a.m. and one in the afternoon.

Wednesday November 25

Lazarito’s Barber Shop will give away 600 turkeys and 1,000 meals starting at 12 p.m. next Wednesday. The location is at 1959 West 60th Street in Hialeah.

United Way in Broward County, in conjunction with the Miami Dolphins Foundation, will give away 1,000 meals to military veterans and active duty service members. The event will be at the Colker Center at 1300 South Andrews Avenue, in Fort Lauderdale, starting at 4 p.m. and until 6 p.m.
