An investigation is ongoing after three juveniles were shot in Miami-Dade County, including a 15-year-old boy who is not expected to survive his injuries.
Miami-Dade police say that Wrollan P. Foulkes, 15, was critically injured and isn’t expected to survive.
The other two victims’ identities were not released, but authorities confirmed that one teen had been released from the hospital and another was in stable condition. One is 15 and the other 14.
They were all rushed to Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital by Miami-Dade Fire Rescue workers.
The shooting happened Monday evening along the 2200 block of Northwest 51st Street. According to police, officers responded to a Shot Spotter alert and discovered the victims.
The victims were standing on the street corner when someone approached them and opened fire, police said. The suspect then ran away, according to investigators.
