A plane crashes in Pembroke Pines. It is the third accident in the last month

A plane crashed in Pembroke Pines on Thursday, the third to crash in the past month, and this time a person had to be taken to hospital.

 

At around 4:40 p.m., Pembroke Pines police tweeted that a plane had crashed near North Perry Airport, in the Pembroke Road and University Drive area, causing many streets to be closed.

 

According to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the craft, a single-engine SOCATA TB10 Tobago model, took off from North Perry Airport and crashed about a mile away, near the corner of Pembroke Road and Jodi Lane. There were four people on board, and none were identified.

 

According to the police, at least one of the occupants was injured.

 

No further details about the accident were released.
