Police are investigating after a man was found shot to death Wednesday morning in northwest Miami-Dade.

The shooting occurred around 2 a.m. near a medical marijuana dispensary and a Speedway gas station on Northwest 167th Street and Second Avenue in the Golden Glades neighborhood.

A large tanker truck was also parked at the gas station, however it’s unclear whether the driver was a witness or had any involvement.

More than a dozen relatives went to the scene after police arrived.

One family member said the victim was in his 20s and had a daughter who is under the age of 1.

Police are interviewing witnesses and reviewing surveillance video as they search for the shooter or shooters.

A motive for the shooting is unclear.
