A New York developer has submitted plans for a residential project in Wynwood.

The Wynhouse (also named FB Wynwood in the application documents) is proposed to rise 8 stories and include:

  • 308 residential units
  • 24,114 square feet of ground floor commercial space, along with 8,250 square feet of public paseo space

The developer plans to use the Wynwood Transfer of Development Density Program to acquire rights for 99 of the units. They will also pay into the Wynwood Parking Trust Fund to reduce the required parking count by 185 spaces.

The property was formerly owned by the Miami Rescue Mission and abuts an FPL substation and energy storage facility. The new development is proposed to include solar panels for electricity generation.

NBWW is the architect, with interior design by Rockwell.

An affiliate of Fisher Brothers is the developer.

The project was scheduled for review by the Wynwood Design Review Committee yesterday.
